How I wish more politicians were pauciloquent! This was a new word for me, now to figure out how to use it in everyday conversation...

Lackadaisical - (adj) lacking enthusiasm or determination.

I first stumbled across this word in high school back in the Stone Ages. I loved it then and still love it now. It often describes my approach to laundry, grocery shopping and cleaning the cat box. Straightforward, yet still so eloquent.

Valetudinarian - (n) a sickly or weak person, especially one who is constantly and morbidly concerned with his or her health.

There seem to be more and more of these people today, too. I blame Covid for making everyone so hyper sensitive.

Erinaceous - (adj) of, pertaining to, or resembling a hedgehog.

Perhaps I like this word so much because it pretty much describer my shape. I'm not fat, I'm erinaceous. :DD

Embox - (v) to enclose in or as if in a box

And to think all these years, I've been saying, "Put it in a box and tape it up." I could have just said, "Embox that sucker!" But then I would have had to explain what I meant. Oh, "Put it in a box and tape it up." Yeah, maybe not the time saver it appears on the surface.

Quomodocunquizing - (v) making money in any way that you can

This sounds like me growing up. If it meant a couple of bucks, I was right there.
