Lackadaisical - (adj) lacking enthusiasm or determination.
I first stumbled across this word in high school back in the Stone Ages. I loved it then and still love it now. It often describes my approach to laundry, grocery shopping and cleaning the cat box. Straightforward, yet still so eloquent.
And to think all these years, I've been saying, "Put it in a box and tape it up." I could have just said, "Embox that sucker!" But then I would have had to explain what I meant. Oh, "Put it in a box and tape it up." Yeah, maybe not the time saver it appears on the surface.
